Got Wood? new shop display!
Wednesday 4th August
As I have mentioned, No Guts No Glory has been working on loads of stuff recently, including changes to the shop itself.
The most recent changes have been the Will Rene poem, Manifesto, that was painted to the wall, and the new t-shirt display in the window.
In the few short days between receiving a First at Falmouth University and moving to London to work for various clients (including Puma!), Becca Allen and myself spent some sunny hours creating a piece for the shop out of my old bedside table and CD rack.

The idea was to brighten up the shop a little, as well as offering a bit of information as to what No Guts No Glory is all about.
Here are some more pics of the process!

We started of by laying out my dismantled bedroom furniture within the dimensions of the space.

Due to my shakey hand and inability to write my own name neatly, Becca got the task of sketching out the letters and words onto the wood.

Using the spare paints that Becca kept from the Christmas cards she made 9 months previously, we made a start on the painting.

11 hours and a coat of varnish later, we have a new, bright, and totally self made piece for the shop!
See you soon,
Nath
