No Guts No Glory went to Aeon Festival!
Tuesday 30th August
This weekend No Guts No Glory went to Aeon Festival! We got soaking wet, sunburnt, excessively drunk and had an amazing time! Oh, we also launched our range of super tie-dye tees and totes! Here are some pics...

Early on Thursday morning we dodged the showers and painted up the wall for the prints. I made the tee shirt rails out of a couple of wooden pallets I found and some spare wood from the tee rails in the NGNG shop.

A bit of twine, some tie dye bunting and of course loads of amazing prints and zines completed our display. (A little gaffa tape and some bin liners helped to keep the rain out - it was pretty relentless for the fist couple of days!!

Yep, that's right - you did just see some tie-dye! Here's a closer look...

We've been busy with the Dylon and some Organic Cotton tees over the last couple of weeks! There are still a few tie-dye tees left; they are all obviously totally one-off, so if you'd like to pick one up send us an email and we'll send you some pics to choose from! At £15 each, be warned that these will not be around for much longer!

We got a bit carried away and dyed a bunch of tote bags too! Email us and we'll send you a selection to choose from :) These lovelies will set you back a cool £5, and are guaranteed to make shopping much sunnier! (yep, my cheesy festival sales pitches are still in full flow)
Our email address is info@ngngdesign.com

If you were at Aeon, then you may well remember us at the Sunshine people - we were the ones with the sunglasses that made everything bright and sunny! A massive thanks to the guys and girls who spent their weekend drunkenly dragging people to check out the NGNG stall and pick up some sunshine!

I found a broken pair of sunnies and decided to make a filter for my camera out of them - not really a highlight of the weekend, but it worked pretty well :)
We got back yesterday afternoon, and in the early evening The Flatliners played an acoustic show at the No Guts No Glory shop.

Fresh from covering the NGNG shop while we were away, Exeter's Some Sort Of Threat warmed us all up with his usual folk-punk genius. If you check out any musician this year based upon a recommendation on any blog - let it be this one!

Chris and Scott from the Flatliners then delighted us all with an array of acoustic versions of their own songs and some covers - just what we needed after 3 days next door to the Dance Tent at Aeon! They are really great guys and I really appreciate them coming down to see the shop and play for us before their show later on at the Cavern.
Anyway, that's it for now - Owen Gent's 'Hare's Unite For Real Ale' will be up on the NGNG site later this week!
