The D.I.Y Times Issue Four!
Saturday 29th October
We've just finished the Fourth Issue of The D.I.Y Times! This issue of our little zine features an interview and cover design by Jack Teagle, as well as interviews with Inkygoodness, Hide Your Arms, Paper Girl and a special feature on Supersonic Festival!
28-pages filled with D.I.Y goodness, printed 100% recycled paper and with covers screen printed by the zines counterparts at Get A Grip!

Jack Teagle's awesome cover design!

The usual diary entries by No Guts No Glory and Get A Grip.

An look into the world of Jack Teagle, an ever so friendly illustrator from the South west.

Andy Bowness, the man behind Hide Your Arms, gave us an insight into the prolific T-Shirt blog.

This Issue of the D.I.Y Times coincided with Supersonic Festival, which took place in Birmingham's Custard factory last weekend. As the venue is also the home of Get A Grip, we asked the organisers about how they run the festival!

And last but by no means least Lisa Hassell, founder of Inkygoodness, filled us in on how herself and Michelle Turton run this awesome showcase for up and coming artists!
The zine also includes an article by Papergirl Birmingham, a brilliant D.I.Y art project which aims to take art distribution out of galleries and into the streets! An inspiring project that's well worth taking a loot at!
The past three issues of The D.I.Y Times have been brilliantly designed by our good friends Sean Clarke and Mike Andrews of designbyhenry.co.uk. As their creative skills have left them with busy with more freelance work than they could have hoped for, the job this time fell to Rob Hildreth of Von Graff Studios.
Rob works so quickly and efficiently on the zine, and gave us exactly what we asked for, despite our somewhat tight deadline! Thanks Rob, we look forward to working with you in the future!
Have a good weekend - time to get the gloves out!
