It's always a sad time when an item of No Guts No Glory clothing comes to an end. Becca Allen's 'Winter Blues' has been by far the most popular design to date; the 15 t-shirts and 35 jumpers sold like hot cakes to lucky buyers around the country. Today I sold the last one. ever. The end of one brilliant design, an the beginning of another....I can't wait to get the catsuit tees on the 15th March!
Sauna Youth and Solutions Photos - Nathan Blaker
Friday 26th February
Sauna Youth played their 3rd ever show last night at Exeter Cavern, Nathan Blaker took some photos of them, to use as part of an exciting new project that No Guts No Glory are working on with Get A Grip, a Screen Printing studio based in Birmingham. www.getagripstudio.com
Sauna Youth are an Exeter/Brighton/London based band, drawing influence from the likes of the Buzzcocks and The Undertones. Check them out at www.myspace.com/saunayouth. Sorry for the huge about of photos, the whole roll of film turned out pretty well, making the selection difficult!

Samuel Bradley - update
Thursday 25th February
Over the last month or so Samuel Bradley has been busy working on a whole load of shoots. Here is some of the work he has produced since photographing Brother John for No Guts No Glory at the end of 2009.
Sam recently teamed up with Elliott Morgan and took some photos for SJ Whiteley and the new Built For Sin range.
Sam has also done two separate shoots with Rebecca, a model from Hampshire. She's also known as Maddox Bone. They worked well together and put on some awesome looks.

I DID IT! I finally ordered Becca Allen's Cat Suit design.
The first 25 of a total of 50 will be available in-store and online from Monday 15th March.

Spacehop - John Lennon and Spray Cans
Tuesday 23rd February
As you may well already know, No Guts No Glory artist spacehop produces Graffiti inspired art work. The Latest in a series of celebrity protraits that he is putting together is this one-off John Lennon canvas. The canvas is currently up for sale in store, and will be here until the end of February. Even if you don't want to buy it, or don't really like John Lennon, it's definitely worth popping in to look at it!
As well as spending days locked in the shed spraying up the portraits, Spacehop has taken to D.I.Y and made these spray can boxes. They are on sale for £20 in-store.

Saturday 20th February
Printing in such Limited Editions, There will always be that sad day when an item of No guts No Glory clothing comes to an end.
So, any one still thinking about whether or not to invest in an Anchor Jumper...time to divert your thoughts to something else I'm afraid! The Jumpers lasted little more than a month and as well as being popular locally, they have been spread all the way from around Britain, to Europe, and as far as Canada. sweet.
Remember, there will only ever be a maximum of 50 prints of each design. Ever!
I must admit, it's not nice turning people away when they ask 'please please please can I print some more', but it is nice to know that there are 50 people out there who can be happy knowing that there isn't a massive flock of people wearing the same clothes as them.
A friend went to Morocco a couple months ago and bumped into some one wearing the same No Guts No Glory t-shirt as him. I'd only sold four of it at that point...small world huh?

CAT SUIT
Saturday 13th February
For any one who has seen Becca Allen's most splendid Cat Suit design, I'm sorry it hasn't been printed yet. For any one who hasn't seen it, here it is.
Since January things got a little hectic with re-ordering, breaking my external Hard Drive, buying a new one, building more shelving units for the shop, and making other repairments and replacements to holes left by the christmas stampede!
Any way, I'm sure this one will be worth waiting for, keep an eye out for the exact release date, it will be mid-march at the latest!
have a good valentines day if you are into that kind of thing...i will sleep, watch some footy, drink tea and watch Heroes....perfect!

Wow, those two weeks passed quickly! No Guts No Glory's first ever girls tees are going on sale on Monday 15th Feb! Thanks to alex Harris from Exeter for the brilliant design! The t-shirt is available in white, and there are limited pink ones too, 25 in total.
Also in on monday is the final 25 of Becca Allen's popular Polaroid design. This batch has been printed on ash grey tees.

Becca Allen recently entered a competition to design a lomo camera. The winner is yet to be announced, but I think this design has what it takes.

Tahti Syrjala
Monday 8th February
After reading daily blogs dedicated to unique and inspiring fashion and make-up looks, Tahti Syrjala decided to create her own. The idea behind Tahti's blog is to include a small bit of everything and anything for everyone's enjoyment. This includes fashion, make-up reviews, various tutorials and anything else that interests her. When is comes to the fashion, the modeling and photography is shared between her and her boyfriend Troy.
Recently, they were introduced to No Guts No Glory when Isabella Allen created a post about us on lookbook.nu; an invite only fashion, youth culture and community website. They both really liked our designs and as we really like what they are doing, it seemed only fitting that we worked together.

I have recently been on a mission to find local zines; I really like them, and I like that people spend their time to share their interests and experiences. I enjoy reading and holding something that some one has spent time writing and putting together totally for their own enjoyment and satisfaction and for that of any one who may come across it. Bull See Red
Saturday 6th February
Bull See Red recently approached No Guts Go Glory. The band were after some new photos to use for promotion.
The bands previous images were largely studio based and shot digitally. To mix things up a little, Nathan Blaker took the band out for a couple hours and shot using colour and black and white 35mm film.
Along with natural light, the idea was to create some simple, honest and effective images that would last.

New Art Work
Thursday 21st January
We have some colourful new canvases for sale in the shop. They are by James Dean (aka Deano), and I think they are ace!
Deano has been drawing and painting for pretty much all of his life. Growing up in Exeter on a strict a diet of cartoons, Hip hop, skateboarding, Playstation, Nike airs, and more cartoons, has massively influenced his drawing style which mainly consists of robots (which are his speciality), pretty girls, guns, trainers, bold and bright colours, 3D glasses, and whatever else is randomly going through his head that day. A lot of Deanos work is done with traditional pen and (sometimes lined) paper. If its lucky, it then ends up on canvas painted up with acrylics and inks. Deano has also recently gotten into photoshop and is finding it a very useful tool. However, nothing beats a good pen.

Becca Allen's Winter Blues Jumpers are back in on Monday 25th, as well as Rob Mason's 'Mexican' which will possibly be printed with Navy ink as opposed to the original black.
Philip Harris has his first tee in stock on Monday 1st Feb, it will be No Guts No Glory's first black t-shirt!
